Brandi Powell is a Los Angeles-based writer, producer, and recovering hillbilly from West Virginia. She received her BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her drama pilot "Heat Lightning" made the 2024 Golden List and was a Quarterfinalist for the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. “Last Wish Club” was selected for the NYU 2025 Pitchfest. Her half-hour comedy "Holy Hell" was a Quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition as well as the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards. She is a producer for Tenth Planet Productions, specializing in documentary and music special production. Her projects at Tenth Planet include The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Disney+/ABC/Hulu, 2023-2025) and Fire Aid (2025). Her full credits can be viewed here.
